Pastrami Brisket

Pastrami was brought to the United States in the second half of the 19th century and Americans have been loving it ever since. At Zoe’s Meats we love pastrami so much that we thought we would make it like they do on the east coast where pastrami consumption is far higher than out here on the west coast. Rather than cutting our pastrami from the round, we chose to use the exponentially more flavorful brisket meat. We add our blend of salt, herbs and spices and then smoke the peppered brisket over real hickory chips. Serving Zoe’s Pastrami Brisket on a hot sandwich creates an extraordinary eating experience.
